Troy has worked in the IT field for over a decade, starting his journey in the United States Navy. Since then, he has worked as a senior information security engineer for Fortune 500 companies and, more recently, founded Threat Archer Cybersecurity Solutions LLC. He has a degree in cybersecurity and information assurance, as well as many industry-recognized certifications from ISC2, CompTIA, and the Linux Foundation. He has presented at BSides Las Vegas 2024 and appeared on multiple cybersecurity podcasts. 

Outside of security, he enjoys volunteering at local events for schools and colleges, staying active in the gym, and spending quality time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys sampling local breweries and has a passion for food.
